The Retreat will offer ACA meetings, experiential workshops based on our theme, and activities to support your recovery such as arts and crafts, yoga, qigong, meditation, trust building, labyrinth walks, dance, and improv games. Massage and reiki will be available for an additional charge. Registration fees cover the full retreat experience including workshops, meetings, and activities. Includes six meals, Friday dinner through Sunday lunch. Room has 2 single beds, fan, towel, washcloth, heater, lamps, and sink. Shares a bathroom (shower & toilet) with one other room. This registration fee is for one person. During registration, you may request a first and second choice of roommates. This person must also register separately (or already be registered) and request you as a roommate. We will do our best to match you up, but making a request does not guarantee that you will room with that person.
The ACA Women’s Retreat group provides retreats, events, workshops, meetings, and fellowship. The ACA Women’s Retreat Service Committee is composed of women primarily from Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families, Co-Dependents Anonymous, and Al-Anon Family Groups. Members of all 12 step programs are invited to participate. We are an autonomous ACA group. We are of service to our fellowship and honor our own individual recoveries. Our guiding principles are the ACA 12 Steps, 12 Traditions and 12 Concepts of Service. We identify with the Laundry List and the Solution. We practice Unanimity and Action Coming from Love. We honor the ACA Diversity statement.
Our purpose is to create a safe space for women to engage in their recovery.
We facilitate retreats, events, workshops, meetings, and fellowship designed specifically for women. We invite you to participate, grow and heal in this authentic loving community.
